Luxury Real Estate Sales for July 2012, Part 1

Luxury real estate sales have been on the up, showing growing demand for high-end homes as the US financial market is stabilizing. The July issue of Sotheby’s International Realty‘s Significant Sales features their top sales from across the world, which are a testament to the thriving luxury market.

This newly completed masterpiece offers extraordinary opulence and luxury. The full 16th floor is 8,360 square feet with 14 beautifully proportioned rooms that feature 10-foot ceilings and sweeping views of Central Park. The elevator opens to a grand gallery appropriate for a significant art collection. A 42-foot great room is flanked by a formal dining room and a sitting room that opens to provide 68 feet of entertaining space. Custom finishes include a six-room master bedroom suite, library with fireplace, 27-foot media room, private guest wing, four additional bedrooms, nine-and-a-half bathrooms and laundry room. Built by Rosario Candela in 1926, this home provides five-star service, security at all times, a fitness spa and billiards room.
