Grapefest 2012 Starts Today!

Grapefest 2012 kicks off today! Get ready to sip wine, savor food, and stomp some grapes at this year’s celebration of local wine. There will be wine tastings, a family carnival, a culinary pavilion, and more!

Starting today, don’t miss the People’s Choice Wine Tasting Classic, one of the signature GrapeFest events! The largest consumer-judged wine competition in the United States, the competition consists of 10 sessions throughout the festival. This year’s event features more than 130 Texas wines from 40 Texas wineries.

This Saturday, September 15, you’ll want to be sure and stop by the Texas Wine Tribute at the Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center. The evening begins with a reception at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7:30 p.m. This is a ticketed event and sells out quickly every year. The Texas Wine Tribute, a black-tie gala, also features a silent and live auction.
