Color moods: Orange is a lively color that can bring a vital jolt of color into a room. I think every room should have an unexpected accent and orange brings that perfect shock without being too over the top. Like yellow, orange promotes warm feelings. Orange has become the “IT” color on fashion runways, automobile interiors, and now home décor.
Color personality: If you decorate with orange, you are considered to be very social, joyful, extroverted, and happy.
Color psychology: Psychologically, the orange color is used to promote joy and happiness, increase concentration, creativity and energy. It enhances emotional health and encourages socialization. It’s a great color to use in offices or entertaining areas.
Color pairings: Orange pairs well with more muted tones like shades of brown or copper, and takes on a crisp, clean look with white. Orange is opposite blue on the color wheel, so it goes well with many shades of blue, especially light eggshell colors and even purple hues. For a trendier look, pair orange with hot pink or steel grey.
