From KXAN: A well-known Texas mansion modeled after a French landmark is going on the auction block this month. New York City-based Concierge Auctions announced Monday that it is putting the mansion up for bid on March 30.
The estate is located in the small town of Hickory Creek, about 40 miles north of Dallas. It cost $46 million to build and is called Champ d’Or, a name inspired by the Vaux-le-Vicomte outside of Paris.
The 48,000-square-foot mansion includes a two-story library, a hair salon and a two-story “her” closet. It also has a grand ballroom, a movie theater and a tea room modeled after New York’s Tavern on the Green.
